​1. What are the benefits of participating in yoga classes?

Yoga enhances flexibility, strength, and balance while reducing stress and improving mental clarity. At SYM Yoga, it also serves as a tool for realignment, helping you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and create sustainable changes in how you move, think, and feel.

2. Is SYM Yoga just yoga classes?

No. While yoga is a core part of what we offer, SYM Yoga is designed to support you as a whole.
It combines movement, stillness, and simple guidance to help you reset, gain clarity, and make meaningful changes over time based on what you need in the moment.

3. What equipment do I need for yoga classes?

A yoga mat. Props like blocks, straps, bolsters, or cushions are optional. For weekly in-person classes, all necessary props are often provided.

4. Are yoga classes suitable for beginners?

Yes! Simple Yoga by M classes are designed to be accessible for beginners, aging adults, and individuals of all levels, offering gentle movements, supportive modifications, and a focus on mobility, relaxation, and overall well-being.

5. How long are your yoga classes?

Class durations vary:  

- Online classes: typically range from 10 to 60 minutes.  

- Live virtual private sessions: are offered at 30 and 60 minutes.

6. What styles of yoga do you offer?

Offerings include gentle yoga, restorative yoga, Yin yoga, beginner-friendly flows, and targeted sessions for stress relief, mobility, and recovery.

7. Do I need to be flexible to start yoga?  

No! Yoga helps you improve flexibility over time. The focus is not performance, It is awareness, comfort, and gradual progress over time. 

8. How do online yoga classes work?

Live online classes are accessed through a video platform like Zoom. Prerecorded sessions will be available on our website.

9. Is membership free?

Yes!  There is no cost to be a member and access all of the content.  If you are looking for an individual private session, this would come at an extra cost.

10. Can I get personalized guidance during online classes?

In online live classes, instructors often observe participants and offer cues. For personalized guidance, private sessions are available.​
