Are you having negative thoughts about yourself?
1.Name a thought gently, for example: “I'm having the thought that I might disappoint someone,” or use your own words. You do not need to argue with it or push it away.
2.Bring your attention to an ordinary detail around you: a color, a sound, or the contact of your feet with the floor. The thought is one part of this moment, not all of it.
3.Ask, “What response fits what matters to me and what I actually know?” Choose a small action (or wait for more information) without needing the thought to disappear first.
